Junior Accountant (m/f), for a multinational company
Pessoas e Sistemas is a management and human resources consulting company whose main functions are consultancy, assessment and performance, recruitment and selection, and outsourcing.
We are currently looking for candidates for a multinational company with location in Vila Nova de Gaia:
- Junior Accountant (m/f)
Profile:
· Training in Accounting;
· 2 years' previous experience in the position;
· English level C1 (mandatory);
· Proficiency in Excel and other Office tools;
· Knowledge of Dynamics 365 software, is an advantage
· Planning and organization skills, critical thinking, and ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to general ledger accounting (journal entries, month-end accruals, account reconciliations, account analysis, support schedules, etc.);
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings;
- Maintain a wide variety of financial information, files, and records, to ensure the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies;
- Review and process travel expenses across numerous business functions;
- Support accounts payable with resolving queries, completing AP confirmation letters, and reconciling the sub ledger monthly;
- Support the Accounting team in the preparation and reconciliation of payroll reporting;
- Assists in reviewing financial information to identify issues;
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and yearly audit documentation;
- Assist with intercompany postings, research, and communications;
- Support special projects as required and directed by the supervisor of the Finance Department.
