Senior Technology Scale-up Engineer Process & Quality,
Quality & Process Engineer (m/f)
Profile:
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline
Approximately 5–8 years of industrial experience, preferably in process engineering or manufacturing environments
Experience in process optimization, quality management systems, process safety (HAZOP/FMEA)
Experience in pyrolysis, recycling, refining, petrochemicals, or carbon materials is highly desirable
Fluent in English is required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and pragmatic approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyse, and optimize pilot plant performance
Develop and validate mass and energy balances (MEB) and process data for commercial scale-up
Define product specifications, quality control plans, and sampling procedures
Coordinate analytical testing with internal and external laboratories
Establish and continuously improve the company’s integrated Quality Management System
Prepare and support certification according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISCC EU, REACH, and related standards
Support engineering, HAZOP, FMEA, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up of the first commercial plant
Develop engineering standards, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
