We are looking for a new research technology center, in Oliveira de Azeméis:
SODIUM ION Cell Design Researcher (m/f)
Profile:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Material Engineering or related areas
Mid-level experience (more than 3 years of experience)
Intermediate knowledge in electrochemistry (2-3 years of experience)
Knowledge of multi-dimensional modeling or in artificial-intelligence models
Knowledge of density functional theory or solid-state physics
Knowledge of sodium ion batteries or similar technologies (nice to have)
Knowledge in OpenFoam, C++ and Python (nice to have)
Cost and performance optimization driven mindset
Proficiency in English
Analytical thinking
Responsibilities:
Develop mathematical and AI models for optimizing the design of sodium ion cells
Develop mathematical and AI models to assist in the development of new materials by academic and commercial partners
Perform electrochemical tests to sodium ion cells
Writing technical reports
Participate in national and international projects
