Our cliente is one of Portugal´s leading 5 Stars Hotel, Golf , Spa & Wellness Resort, located in the Algarveand is looking to identify and select a creative and inspiring leader as a Spa Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a professional, dynamic and challenging environment where the standards set are consistently high.
As a Spa Manager, you will oversee the spa facility and treatments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing spa operations, ensuring outstanding guest service, and directing spa staff. You will train staff members, delegate tasks to staff, and set schedules. You will also ensure that scheduling of staff includes having someone on staff for every position, including reception, a masseuse, and a skincare specialist, etc. You will also be responsible for the performance of the spa, so you must develop marketing campaigns, whether thru advertizing campaigns or social media posts. You will ensure an excellent spa and guest experience as well as collaborate with internal and external parties and answer all costumer inquiries. You will appraise and assess employee performance and schedule guest appointments. You will maintain an updated client database as well as maintain a spa industry knowledge. You will also ensure compliance with applicable health regulations and hygiene standards, meet and exceed spa budget, build relationships with local business and follow corporate policies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or related business administration degree.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in cosmetology or spa management
• Previous experience in treatments or therapy.
• Passion for leadership and teamwork and the delivery of exceptional levels of customer care.
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
• Strong Communicator who is approachable across all levels.
