About the Job:

CME is looking for an experienced Head of Procurement & Logistics (m/f) to lead procurement and supply chain activities for its Data Centre MEP business. This role will focus on developing effective procurement and logistics strategies, ensuring timely delivery of critical MEP systems and long lead items, while driving supplier performance, material flow, quality, and commercial efficiency across mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies to support the successful delivery of Data Centre MEP projects, aligned with project programs, sequencing, and key construction milestones. 
  • Define project procurement plans, identifying critical packages, long lead equipment, supply chain risks, and mitigation actions to ensure timely availability of materials and systems. 
  • Lead sourcing and tendering activities for major MEP packages, including supplier and subcontractor prequalification, technical and commercial evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations. 
  • Build and manage relationships with strategic manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics partners, ensuring capacity, competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery performance. 
  • Oversee procurement status, logistics planning, material flows, and site deliveries, ensuring equipment and materials reach the right location at the right time and in line with construction priorities. 
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Commissioning teams, while driving procurement governance, reporting, cost optimization, team development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Construction Management, or a related discipline; 
  • Extensive experience, 5 years, in senior procurement and supply chain leadership roles within MEP contracting, mission-critical facilities, or Data Centre construction environments; 
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including supplier negotiations, procurement planning, and subcontract management; 
  • Experience leading technical and commercial bid evaluation and equalization processes; 
  • Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and the relationship between procurement performance and project delivery; 
  • Strong financial awareness with a focus on cost control, margin protection, and project profitability; 
  • Proven leadership experience managing procurement and logistics teams across multiple projects; 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; 
  • Fluent English (C1), both written and spoken.
