We are launching an ambitious private estate winery project in Portugal's Algarve, starting with 11 hectares of carefully selected vineyards and a long-term vision of producing internationally recognised, world-class wines that express the character of an exceptional Atlantic terroir.
We are seeking an experienced Resident Head Winemaker with a minimum of five years' proven leadership experience in premium or luxury wine production.
This opportunity is for an energetic, hands-on professional who combines technical excellence with commercial awareness, curiosity, and the ambition to build a prestigious wine brand from the ground up.
Profile / Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience as Head Winemaker or in an equivalent leadership position.
- Proven track record producing premium or internationally recognised wines.
- Strong expertise in vineyard management, vinification, ageing, blending and quality assurance.
- Passion for innovation while respecting terroir and authenticity.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- International mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate and become a long-term resident in the Algarve, Portugal.
