About the Job:
CME is looking for an experienced BMS Package Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in Portugal. This site-based role will focus on managing the delivery, integration, testing, and commissioning of BMS and EPMS systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project specifications, commissioning milestones, and the operational reliability expected in a mission critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful implementation and operational readiness of BMS and EPMS systems across all project stages;
- Promote effective technical alignment between designers, contractors, vendors, commissioning teams and client representatives;
- Provide leadership of supplier and subcontractor interfaces, ensuring timely resolution of technical and operational matters;
- Ensure design documentation, testing records and system performance outputs support compliance with project requirements;
- Track commissioning performance and readiness activities, ensuring outstanding actions are effectively managed;
- Support quality verification, turnover preparation and final acceptance activities for integrated automation systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Automation & Control Systems, or a related technical discipline;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the delivery of BMS and/or EPMS systems within large-scale construction, Data Centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, or other highly technical project environments;
- Strong understanding of building automation, controls architecture, power monitoring systems, system integration, testing, validation, and commissioning processes;
- Proven experience managing BMS/EPMS vendors, specialist subcontractors, technical interfaces, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases;
- Ability to interpret and review technical drawings, control schematics, network architectures, points lists, cause-and-effect matrices, specifications, commissioning documentation, and system performance outputs;
- Fluent English, minimum C1 level, both written and spoken, with strong planning, communication, reporting, stakeholder management, and digital skills, including Microsoft Office and project, commissioning, or document management platforms.
