About the Job:

CME is looking for an experienced OFCI Package Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal. This site-based role will focus on managing Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed equipment packages throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective coordination between client,vendors, subcontractors, logistics, construction, and commissioning teams to support timely, safe, and compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the governance and coordination of all OFCI packages, ensuring effective communication between the Client, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams; 
  • Ensure successful delivery of OFCI packages throughout planning, procurement coordination, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases; 
  • Foster alignment between Engineering, Planning, Construction, Procurement, Logistics and Commissioning functions to support program objectives; 
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities and package review meetings, ensuring transparency on progress, constraints and key actions;
  • Monitor package performance indicators and implement mitigation measures to address risks affecting cost, quality, safety or schedule;
  • Ensure equipment management processes comply with project specifications, quality standards, security requirements and client expectations from receipt through installation.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within MEP construction, engineering, or project delivery environments, preferably on large-scale Data Centre, mission-critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects;
  • Proven experience managing complex equipment packages and multidisciplinary interfaces across the full project lifecycle, from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover;
  • Strong technical knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical and mechanical installations, with the ability to coordinate client teams, vendors, package suppliers, and subcontractors;
  • Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, negotiation, reporting, and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to risk management and project delivery challenges;
  • Fluent English, minimum C1 level, both written and spoken; previous experience in Data Centre projects and OFCI or Client-Furnished Equipment packages will be considered a strong advantage.
