This internship offers an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to refine your culinary skills, elevate your palate, and embark on this journey towards culinary excellence while having the mentorship of our world-class chefs. Your responsabilities will be:
Vila Vita Parc Branding and Commitment:
- Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to the values and mission of Vila Vita Parc, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of the brand's reputation and identity in all areas of operation.
- Represent and promote the Vila Vita Parc brand in all interactions and activities, ensuring that our standards of quality and excellence associated with our resort are maintained and reinforced.
Kitchen Operations:
- Use and maintain all equipment and machines in the kitchen, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
- Check and clean kitchen areas according to established standards, maintaining hygiene and sanitation at all times.
Food Preparation:
- Practice cutting pieces of meat, preparing vegetables, salads, starches, and auxiliary products according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare dishes before table service, ensuring presentation and taste meet our high standards of excellence.
Quality Control:
- Control goods received, including quality, hygiene, conservation, and storage, to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Be vigilant about economizing in all tasks concerning waste, purchasing prices, standard quality, and recipes, while also considering environmental and ecological issues.
Cooking Techniques:
- Apply different cooking methods to a variety of ingredients, showcasing versatility and skill in culinary.
Personal Competencies:
- Respect the rules of the establishment regarding personal appearance, hygiene, and the working environment.
- Be flexible and autonomous in your role, capable of adapting to changing circumstances and taking initiative when needed.
- Manage stress effectively, maintaining composure and professionalism even during busy or challenging times.
- Accept criticism and use it as an opportunity for growth and improvement.
- Integrate into the team dynamic, contributing positively to its energy and camaraderie.
