Vila Vita Parc, a member of Leading Hotels of the World and Forbes Travel Guide, is looking for a Luggage Team Supervisor to guarantee exceptional quality in every detail of the guest experience.
Lead with Precision and Dedication:
- Ensure the update and verification of operational information (line-up, arrivals, departures, transfers, and shuttles)
- Coordinate and optimize communication between reception, porters, and drivers
- Monitor and apply LHW and Forbes quality standards, ensuring compliance and excellence
- Provide support and guidance to teams, promoting collaboration and efficiency
- Prepare work schedules and manage change requests
- Supervise shuttle services, transfers, and transportation to external restaurants
- Participate in operational meetings and lead team meetings
- Manage internal parking areas, luggage zones, and adjacent areas, ensuring order and safety
- Supervise the management of buggy and van fleets
- Lead and deliver team training on luxury hospitality standards, promoting continuous improvement
Profile / Requirements
- Completed secondary education (professional training preferred)
- 2 years of supervisory/team leadership experience in hospitality, ideally in luxury hotels or upscale resorts with luxury hospitality standards (LQA/Forbes)
- Portuguese: C2 level, English: C1 level (advanced, professional); other languages valued
- Schedule flexibility for different shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of OPERA platform (preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to unexpected situations and routine changes
- Proactivity in organizing and managing work schedules
